1. How much investment is required for the Pak Hailam Kopitiam Licensing?
Investment varies depending on the size and location of the store. Minimum investment needed start from RM 600,000 for a 2000 sq ft (estimated RM 280 to RM 300 per sq ft) which will cover overall fit out for the store, equipments, rentals deposit, stocks, security deposit, licensing and training fee. Bigger store require higher investment. |

2. How much is the initial licensing fee that I have to pay?
Licensing fee of RM 60,000 is paid upfront. |

3. How much is the deposit that I have to pay?
Besides shop rental deposit, there is an upfront of RM 60,000 for stock deposit (RM 30,000 cash deposit and RM 30,000 bank guaranteed). |

4. What about ongoing fees?
There is a monthly licensing fee of 6% and 1% of administration fee will be charged based on monthly gross turnover. |

5. Who finds the location of my Pak Hailam Kopitiam?
Licensor will recommend locations when there are available but Licensee can recommend the location where they intent to open. Shop lots should preferably be corner lots for standalone outlets and a minimum of 2000 sq ft. for outlets in shopping mall. |

6. Do I get training for myself as well as my new staff?
A six week of class room and practical training on Business and Operation Management is given to the Licensee and the staff. The cost of the training will be RM 10,000. |

7. What kind of operation support do I get when I take up a Pak Hailam Kopitiam Licensing?
Continuing support will be given once the store is opened and regular support our senior executives or district managers who will visit the Pak Hailam Kopitiam in order to make sure the store is operated in the manner that provide good service and quality food to all Pak Hailam Kopitiam guests. A copy of Pak Hailam Kopitiam operation manuals is also provided to the Licensee. |

8. Do I have to manage the Pak Hailam Kopitiam on day to day operation?
Pak Hailam Kopitiam will provide management training that covers the overall day-to-day operation which includes back end management that covers finance, payroll and full sets of account. The management fee of 4% of gross sales will be charged. This fee covers the salary of back end administration staff and the day-to-day management provide to your managers. The cost of store manager and staffs of Pak Hailam Kopitiam is bear by Licensee. |

9. Does Pak Hailam Kopitiam offer Master Licensing for local and international market?
